Hotel Chateau St Cloud - La Digue

Perched atop a verdant hill, this hotel is a perfect base to explore the beautiful beaches nearby. the garden villas are comfortable with spacious bathrooms, TV, fridge, and air conditioning. the breakfast spread with fruits, eggs, bacon, porridge, and toast is a treat. Rent a bike to ride around the island and explore the beaches. the staff is friendly and helpful.

Though some bikes could use some care, the hotel itself was a pleasant surprise.

This large and fantastic venue is a superb base for a stay in the heart of the island, boasting a beautiful pool view from our window and serving delicious Indian cuisine.

Within a walking distance of Zerof Restaurant, where you can have lunch. A bathroom is equipped with a bathtub. Pool was a nice addition.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was beautiful with a nice pool, the rooms were spacious and clean, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. WiFi worked well.

Amazing wildlife and beautiful gardens, great for nature lovers. The rooms were clean and had a fridge. Good location for exploring. Bikes for rent were convenient.

Overpriced food, especially breakfast which was not worth it. Service was lacking and unenthusiastic. The bikes were old and not well-maintained, some were even broken. not worth the cost.

Chateau St. Cloud exceeded our expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, especially considering the attention to detail and the level of service we received. The location of the hotel was also perfect, nestled in a lovely tropical garden and situated in the center of the island. This made it incredibly convenient for exploring all that La Digue has to offer. Our room, with its covered veranda chalet style, was simply delightful. The spaciousness and the great huge bathroom made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Finally, the breakfast at the hotel was a real treat, with live music adding to the wonderful ambience.

Everything at this hotel was ok.

Our superior room was absolutely stunning, stylishly decorated and with amazing views. The location, in the middle of the island, made it very easy to explore all the places we wanted to visit, while the peaceful atmosphere of the hotel allowed us to relax after a busy day. The pool was also a great advantage, very refreshing and clean.

The standard rooms seemed to be of poor quality, it was too small and left very little space to move around. the food in the hotel restaurant was quite expensive and lacked quality.
